As a young girl, growing up in the small town of Kolding, Denmark, Lilian Jorgenson loved to sell to the customers in her family’s grocery store. She vividly recalls the attention to detail and painstaking approach her father took to ensure product quality and customer service and the warm and caring relationship he had with lifelong customers.
Even though she’s lived in the United States for over 40 years that memory has left an indelible impression on Lilian’s approach to business. She works hard to stay abreast of the constantly changing market, to understand her clients needs and means, and to make buying or selling a home a pleasant as well as efficient process.
Lilian has lived locally with her husband Allan since 1969. Lilian enjoys regular visits and frequent phone calls with their daughter Janet in California and her brother and his wife who still live in Copenhagen, Denmark. The couple’s son, John, lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and works in Real Estate.
Lilian is a positive, upbeat woman with a big smile that is extremely contagious. To this day she retains a charming hint of her Danish accent. She’s truly a joy to work with and be around. Maybe that’s part of the secret of her success as a real estate professional.
Lilian’s credentials as a Realtor are superb. She has consistently been at or near the top of the realtors in her company and within the region in total sales volume and total number of sales. Lilian has sold over 1,900 homes for a dollar volume of over one billion dollars. She is regularly recognized by the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors as one of the “Top Twenty Residential Sales Agents” in Northern Virginia and by Long and Foster Realtors as the “Top Producer” of her office.
But the awards are less important to Lilian than the knowledge that she has helped people the way she learned from her father many years ago.
